Family bike skills session followed by an optional ride out on the third Saturday of every month from 9:30 till 11:30am. Starting from Bicester Bowl, behind the Bicester Leisure Centre.
Suitable for families new to riding and/or wanting to grow their skills and confidence on their bikes.
Starts with a skills session in a traffic free environment, for the whole family to participate, working on improving confidence in handling the bike. After this there is the option to come for a ride out on a low traffic route around Bicester. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please bring road worthy bikes as well as an inner tube for each bike, drinks, snacks and suitable clothing for the weather conditions including gloves. Helmets must be worn by all participants under the age of 18.
Whilst all children are welcome to participate in the skills session on their own bike, under 5’s must be carried on or towed by an adult’s bike for the ride out; either on a suitable seat or a trailer (includes shotgun seats and trailer bikes).
