Route is via Whalley, Great Mitton, north of Longridge fell, Chipping, Bleasdale, Oakenclough and Galgate to lunch at the Lantern O’er Lune Cafe in Glasson.
Return is a relatively flat route via Cockerham, Garstang, Longridge and Ribchester back to Billington. Total distance is 58 miles.
This is a very scenic, though hilly outward route, with excellent views of Morecambe Bay.
