Blackpool Fish Chip & Knott End Ride

Back by popular demand - you don't want to miss this ride!

This is another new ride for us - You will need 20p for the toll bridge & £2.50 for the ferry.

This follows the Blackpool Fish & Chip route with a start at Frenchwood & a loop up to Knott End, cycling all down the coast, 12 miles is now all traffic free - with a return via Kirkham.

The ferries are only every hour with the last one being 12.45, so we will go straight to Knott End. Please have food with you as we will stop & eat at Whelan's in Lytham at 45 miles.
We will be looking to get the 11.45 ferry, so please be ready to ride, fully prepared by 9.30, fuelled up & ready for 25 miles without stopping.

We will reverse the route if the wind gets up, so it will be behind us up the coast.

It's mainly flat with a few small inclines - nothing to worry about - this is as flat as it gets!!
There's an optional loop at the end of the ride for those who want to take it to 100K.

Please be ready to ride by 9.30.

During this year I will be raising money for the charity Bliss that supports families and premature babies in neonatal care. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause - which would be very much appreciated - please click on the Just Giving link below.
