Blazing Blue Angel to Amaze-ing Cakes

This is a Blazing Blue ride from Brigg to Alkborough Maze and Paddocks Tearoom, aiming for an average speed of around 11-13 miles an hour. This will be a friendly ride, which may be a good one for ladies to go a bit further. No one will be left behind.

After introductions and checks, we will ride through Brigg, Castlethorpe and Wressle, joining Ermine Street for a stretch before turning towards Winterton. We'll then head down towards Alkborough, calling at the turf maze, and to The Paddocks tea room. Suitably refreshed, we'll head back reversing the route.

I strongly recommend helmets, and please bring appropriate drinks, snacks, some money for the cafe stop, and appropriate equipment to allow you to repair a puncture (tools, pump you know how to use on your bike, relevant inner tubes).

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ride to allow time for the necessary checks.

If you have any specific medical requirements which may be relevant to the ride, please ensure the ride leader is aware of them at the start of the ride – feel free to have a quiet word.
