Blazing Blue Back to School Trent Valley loop (23.6 miles, 12-13 mph)

A Blazing Blue ride starting and finishing at the Old School Café, Northfield Road, Messingham, DN17 3SA. The ride is 23.6 miles long averaging 12-13 mph, suitable for road bikes or hybrid with road tyres. Meet in the Old School car park at 10am. There is a small car park at the café so it may be necessary to park in one of the nearby roads or car parks at the Library or Village Hall on Wendover Road. From Messingham we head down to the Trent bank before cycling through picturesque Laughton Woods then Blyton and Kirton before returning to Messingham for refreshments in the Old School Café itself. Please bring a spare inner tube, pump and puncture repair kit along with helmet, drink and money for the café.
