This Blazing Blue ride is a quicker ride for the slightly more confident rider. The anticipated pace average is anticipated to be around 11-13 mph (likely the lower end of that with me leading), although no one will be left behind.
The route will see us leave The Angel car park, and head out towards Hibaldstow and Redbourne, then loop around through Waddingham, Kelseys, and off to Clayton’s Corner for a cafe stop. We’ll then head back down to Brigg.
Particularly if your bike hasn’t been ridden for a while (but even if it has), please check that your tyres are fully pumped up, your chain moves freely, your brakes work, and your bike is road-worthy. You don’t need special cycle gear, but trousers etc must not be flappy, and any laces must be tucked in.
As ever on a Breeze ride, we recommend you wear a helmet, bring the appropriate inner tubes for your bike, the tools (including a pump you know how to use which fits your bike) to replace them with, a drink for the ride, and cash for the cafe stop if you would like refreshments there.
If you have any specific medical requirements which may be relevant to the ride, please ensure the ride leader is aware of them at the start of the ride – feel free to have a quiet word.
Find us on FB –Breeze Network - North Lincs for women-only rides, and Guided Rides North Lincs for mixed rides.
Please be ready 15 minutes before the ride start time to allow for introductions and essential safety checks.
