(0) ReviewsA longer ride out to the Quayside Coffee shop at Burton Waters. Lovely views across the Trent Valley on the way out. This is a Blazing Blue Ride ride and we aim at an average speed of 11 - 13 mph. No -one will be left behind and we will keep together as a group, but if you think this is too FAST or too SLOW for you, please consider choosing one of our other rides.
Mostly on tarmac public roads with a couple of fairly easy climbs but nothing too challenging. One short (maybe a mile) section of unmade track along the Fossdyke bank. Suitable for road bikes or hybrids with road tyres. E bikes welcome as long as they are legal and keep with the group.
Planned stop at Quayside Coffee, Burton Waters, where we can sit out, looking at the boats.
Helmets are highly recommended. Pleased ensure you have water and a spare inner tube that fits your bike and a working pump, money for the cafe (cards preferred) and a face covering for emergencies.
