Brantingham Breezers Steadily over High Hunsley

We’re a friendly group of ladies who go out from the Triton for a ride of about 14 – 18 miles on Wednesday mornings for a cycle, coffee and a chat.

This week's proposed ride is up Elloughton Dale to Riplingham, over High Hunsley and down to Newbald, making for coffee at the Potting Shed in South Cave. It's fine to meet us at Riplingham if you prefer - just let me know you're doing that.

The ride will be at steady pace - that's about 10 - 11 mph along the flat.. Hills are a different matter - everyone goes at their own pace and it's always OK to walk - bottom gear! But if you haven't ridden for a while, it might be best to book onto an easygoing paced ride first and see how you get on.

Helmets are advisable but not compulsory. Please bring a drink, an inner tube, a bike lock if you have one and money for refreshments.

We go out in most weathers, but nevertheless, I will cancel the ride if there is a weather warning for conditions which would make the ride dangerous.

Quiet lanes and roads with the occasional busier stretch.

There's always a coffee stop and stops to admire the view (if any!), have a breather and a drink.
