Starting from - Meet at the end of the car park (the raised section) on Maryport Prom - there is plenty of free parking along the length of the prom, and with our reasonably early start there shouldn't be any problems parking. CA15 6BB

With the exciting news that Silloth's Fairydust Emporium has taken over the Lowther Arms in Mawbray, we knew that it was going to be the perfect destination for a Breeze ride (and we can fit in a visit to the Cheese Shed as well if you need to stock up)

We will be following the coastal path from Maryport to Allonby (traffic free), continuing on it and following part of Hadrian's cycleway, we will move to roads (generally quiet apart from a short section outside Allonby), and do a loop around Holme Cultram to take us to Mawbray, before rejoining the costal cycle route back to Allonby and then back to Maryport. This route is almost completely flat, with just one little hill (we can stop at the top to get our breath back and have a drink)

We will be stopping at The Lowther Arms, for our Sprinkle of Fairydust, and tea and cake!.

Helmets need to be worn, and remember that spare inner tube! Keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately - remember that layers are good as you can take a layer off if you get too warm. A drink is recommended. A bike lock for the stop at The Lowther Arms, as well as some money. If you have any symptoms of covid, please do no attend the ride.

First-timers welcome!
