Breeze Barnstaple to Braunton Burrows Loop

Starting from - We will meet at the Bike Shed in Barnstaple opposite the clock tower.
Parking:
~Litchdon St or Belle Meadow car parks (£3.90 for 3 hours)
~Severn Brethren across the bridge (£2.50 all day)
Toilets in the Bike Shed.
Ride leaders will be there from 10am and we aim to leave at 10.30am.
You will need your own bike or you can rent one from the Bike Shed for the reduced price of £5.
A helmet is strongly recommended.
Check the weather and choose your clothes accordingly. If the weather is very bad the ride will be cancelled and you will be contacted.
Bring refreshments (drink and a snack) or money for tea/coffee if you wish.

The route joins the Tarka Trail by the Barnstaple museum crossing the road via the tunnel and continues on traffic free paths all the way to the centre of Braunton. We will join the road for 1 mile in Braunton and turn into the quiet roads that cross Braunton Marshes. The route is flat apart from a short ramp out of the tunnel and paths are tarmacked.
After the Braunton loop we can stop at the Quay cafe at Velator roundabout for refreshments, depending on the wishes of the group. We then return to Barnstaple on the same route.
