Join us for our 6th and final of 6 summer weekly Tuesday evening rides from Durham. Having begun with flatter and shorter rides we’ve increased our miles and hills over the weeks to today’s ride at 12 miles.

Tonight we’ll pedal our way along Durham's riverbanks, climbing to Dragonville from where we'll escape the city via Renny's Lane and Sherburn. From here we'll head to Hallgarth, former home of the Bishop of Jarrow and the beautiful St Laurence Church. We'll head back via the Pelaw Wood cycle route

The ride is most suitable for hybrid bikes as it is a mix of on and off road.

In order for the ride to leave promptly, please be punctual so we can carry out bike checks, etc. prior to us setting off. Please make sure your bike is in working condition and bring a spare tube to fit your tyres. We should be riding for about an hour and there will be the option to stop for a cuppa/drink once back in town.

As always we can’t predict the weather so please dress suitably. You are better to be overdressed as you can always take layers off. It may still be glove and buff weather on an evening in June.
