British Cycling are sticking strictly to government guidelines but are keeping social distancing to 2m. As a result, participants will usually ride in single file. Please don't ride beside anyone else unless you can safely ride 2m away from them. And please be careful to stay at least 2m from everyone else throughout.

If anyone has a puncture/mechanical, leaders should advise participants on how to fix it from afar and only do the repair as a last resort. If everyone could check their bikes extra carefully before coming, it would be great. British Cycling's Commuting bike check video is good : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V66yzbrZxvY.

Leaders will give first aid, if necessary.
Shirley's route details:
The ride as posted is via Welton Dale but riders can decide which Dale they fancy. There's very little in it as far as the total climb is concerned. Going via Riplingham crossroads, it's 16m via Brantingham dale, 17.1 via Elloughton Dale and 17.8 via Welton Dale which, although an easier climb, tends to be busier.

We'll then go over High Hunsley and down Trundlegate so your brakes need to be in good working order. Anyone with a choice of which bike to ride might want to use the ease of braking as the deciding factor. From Newbald, we'll go to Hotham, through the park and back via Ellerker.
