This is a really interesting and fairly challenging 23 mile ride with a number of hills combining cycle ways, country lanes and fantastic lake side views and we will be riding at a reasonable pace (around 10/12 mph).

Please arrive at South Hill Park, Bracknell by 9.15 so we can leave promptly at 9.30.

Please make sure you dress for the weather (which hopefully will be mild & dry) and carry a rain jacket just in case and wear a helmet. Also, bring a spare inner tube and pump and money for the coffee stop.

The route follows cycle ways through Crown Wood and Martins Heron out to the London Road. There are barriers to navigate on some of these cycle paths. From there we will pick up the cycle route alongside the main road before turning off through some suburban roads and reaching Ascot Race Course. We will ride through the Race Course, on tarmac paths, and on to Cheapside. We will enter Windsor Great Park at Blacknest Gate and have a gentle ride alongside Virginia Water to our coffee stop. We will ride some of the hills in the Park before retracing our route back to the start.
