About the route
Don`t worry folks you won`t need a fishing rod or net. We are off to Portland Fishing Lakes near Sibthorpe. Can`t guarantee there will be any cakes but they`ll be lots Bacon cobs or something nice toast
From the start we will head out to Gunthorpe and then to East Bridgford (up a short sharp hill). Over the new A46 towards Car Colston. Then we follow the A46 on the Old road to Red Lodge to drop down to Screveton. On the way to Flinthon we will see a couple of interesting sites. In Flintham we turn right and head for the Portland Fishing Lakes. Return mostly the same route
