Breeze Horsenden Hill Ride

This route takes us south to the Grand Union canal at Greenford, and then there's a steepish climb up Horsenden Hill which is on a cycle path - so no worries about traffic behind you! It's a great way to practise your hill climbing and there are a few other hills during the route. We will always wait for everyone at the top. We'll stop on the way back either at the Costa by Northwick Park station, or the Sewa cafe in Harrow Recreation Ground and we'll need to stay outside to drink our drinks. Wrap up warm, especially warm socks and gloves. This is not a beginner ride and there are some moments in traffic, although most is on quiet roads.

Please do not come if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been told to self-isolate. It's fine to cancel on the day if you need to, for this reason. We shall stay at 'one metre plus' outdoors at all times. Bring a mask and hand sanitiser, and ensure your bike is in full working order as I cannot touch it. Most of the route is on-road, with a few stretches off-road

We'll stop at a cafe for a hot drink and snack if you like

Bring money for the cafe, a bike lock, water, a mask and hand sanitiser
