Breeze North Lincolnshire is running a 12 hour challenge on June 29th, during which we will be helping to prevent breast cancer – not bad for a bike ride!
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. At Prevent Breast Cancer, they’re passionate about stopping the disease before it starts. They promote healthier lifestyles and early diagnosis. It is the only UK charity funding ground-breaking research solely aimed at preventing breast cancer for future generations.
Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, PBC believe they can stop the problem before it starts. And being situated at the only breast cancer prevention centre in the UK, they’re right at the front-line in the fight against the disease.

This is one of six rides offered on the day to support the charity, and we suggest a donation of £3 per ride to go entirely towards this charity – payable in cash on the day.

You are welcome to do one, or as many as you wish.

This ride is a Graceful Green ride, at a steady pace average 9 –11mph. However, as with all Breeze rides, no one will be left behind.

The route will see us leave from Clayton’s Corner Cafe in Howsham (some parking available , and head through Cadnet to Brigg. We will head out towards Hibaldstowand Redbourne, then loop around through Waddingham, Kelseys, and back to Clayton’s Corner for a cafe stop.

Particularly if your bike hasn’t been ridden for a while (but even if it has), please check that your tyres are fully pumped up, your chain moves freely, your brakes work, and your bike is road-worthy. You don’t need special cycle gear, but trousers etc must not be flappy, and any laces must be tucked in.

As ever on a Breeze ride, we recommend you wear a helmet, bring the appropriate inner tubes for your bike, the tools (including a pump you know how to use which fits your bike) to replace them with, a drink and snack for the ride, and cash for the cafe stop if you would like refreshments there.

If you have any specific medical requirements which may be relevant to the ride, please ensure the ride leader is aware of them at the start of the ride – feel free to have a quiet word.

Find us on FB –Breeze Network - North Lincs for women-only rides, and Guided Rides North Lincs for mixed rides.

Please be ready 15 minutes before the ride start time to allow for introductions and essential safety checks.

First-timers welcome!
