Breeze on holiday - Follow the River Wye, Monmouth to Symonds Yat, the Peregrine Path!

A nice gentle ride along the River Wye from Monmouth to Symonds Yat

Meet me at Cwmbran stadium NP443YS at 10:00 where we can consolidate lifts and bike carriers and I will show you the way to Monmouth leisure Centre , alternatively you can meet me there at 11am -
Please note that the leisure centre currently has contractors working there so I've had to change the start point. Make your way across the bridge signposted wye valley A466 and at the mini roundabout immediate left onto Hadnock road. You can park along here.
We will cycle from the leisure centre to an underpass to the other side of the main road and then pick up the route along the river to the nice pub The Saracen's head
make sure you have checked your bike, pumped up your tyres and don't forget your helmet and hopefully suncream!! Bring a puncture repair kit or spares if you are unlucky and get a puncture. The route follows the river and is mainly a hard compacted mud surface, you can use all types of bikes even electric.
