A nice gentle ride along the River Wye from Monmouth to Symonds Yat
Meet me Monmouth at 11am. You need to go to the roundabout beyond Monmouth and double back so that you can cross the river wye onto the A466. At the mini roundabout take immediate left onto Hadnock road. You can park along here , don't go too far up, there are some houses on the left and businesses on the left. Park near to these.
We will cycle along the river to the nice pub The Saracen's head
make sure you have checked your bike, pumped up your tyres and don't forget your helmet ! Bring a puncture repair kit or spares if you are unlucky and get a puncture. The route follows the river and is mainly a hard compacted mud surface, you can use all types of bikes even electric.
