- We will ride on lovely country lanes with spectacular views, out to the Lacey Green Windmill and Saunderton
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/35632952 - You can easily get to Great Missenden by train. E.g. Chiltern Rail departs Harrow on the Hill at 10:09, arriving GM 10:41 (passing through Rickmansworth, Chorleywood, C&L, Amersham). There are trains back from GM every half hour. It is only a 2 minute ride downhill from the station to the Link Road car park. If you are unsure of the way I can meet you at the station if you message me beforehand.
- If you are driving to the start the Link Road Carpark normally costs £2.50 for 4hrs but all Bucks council car parks are free until 11 May. You can also park for free on residential roads north of the town centre like Rignall Road and cycle to the start.
- There are some sharp ascents and descents, so you need to be a competent cyclist, but we will take the hills at our own pace and regroup at the top. Nobody will get left behind.
- There is no planned café stop until the end of the ride when we can stop at Matilda’s in GM.
- Bring a snack to eat on the ride. Please also bring at least 1 spare inner tube. I would prefer you to wear a helmet for your safety. Don’t go overboard with heavy gear, as everything feels even heavier when cycling up those hills!
- There are 2 car parks in Link Road. If you are in a car park and can’t see any toilets then you need to cross the road to the car park on the north side of the road.
- Please check your bike thoroughly before you come. Check your brakes are working well, your gears are smooth and your tyres are in good condition and pumped up – you can use this video.

- You can take your bike on Chiltern Rail nearly any time of day – see
