Breeze on the Met Line: Chesham to Ivinghoe

- We will cycle mainly on quiet roads with lovely scenery to the Curiositea Rooms in Ivinghoe. Generally along this route https://ridewithgps.com/routes/35869685 although instead of going up White Hill we may go out a more gentle route via The Vale, Cock Grove and Shooters Way, then Berkhamsted, Ashridge and Ivinghoe Beacon. We will return via https://ridewithgps.com/routes/35869820
- There are some sharp ascents and descents, so you need to be a competent cyclist, but we will take the hills at our own pace and regroup at the top. Nobody will get left behind.
- Please bring the usual (inner tubes, snack, water, etc). I would prefer you to wear a helmet for your own safety.
- You can easily get to Chesham by Chiltern Rail or Metropolitan Line
- If you are unsure of the way to the pool we can call in at the station on the way if you message me beforehand.
- If you are driving to the start, parking is always free at Chesham Open Air Pool HP5 1SF.
- I can’t see who is on the waitlist, so if you are on it, send me a message via the “message ride creator” button, with your phone number, and I will see whether I can make another space (you need to be logged in to the let’s ride website to see the button)
- You can take your bike anywhere on the Metropolitan Line off-peak Mon-Fri (peak hours are 7:30-9:30 and 16:00-19:00). For info see
