We will cycle from Port sunlight towards Parkgate where we shall have a cake and coffee stop. We will then take the Wirral Way all the way to West Kirby, where we will then follow the coast all the way to Seacombe, then cross into Birkenhead and finish at Birkenhead Park. This is near the train station for anyone wanting to return to Port Sunlight to collect your car if you have left if there. The Leverhulme Grand Prix brings professional cycling to Birkenhead today, where we can take it the atmosphere, have lunch in the park and see whats going on and watch some serious cyclists take part in the races. There are races on all day and we aim to get to Birkenhead Park by about 12.30. For more information about this event take a look on www.pedalare.co.uk.
