Starting point

South Yorkshire
S6 2AA

This hidden gem of a Breeze (women's) ride starts from Hillsborough Park and begins with a short section on a designated cycle route (shared-use pavement) that takes us to Sainsbury's. Here we turn left onto a quiet road for a couple of miles before we join a traffic-free trail. This pleasant and well surfaced route winds through Beeley Wood and along the banks of the River Don before emerging in Oughtibridge close to Coronation Park. Here we have the option to stop for a breather and a chat before turning round to ride back. There's no cafe in the park, so bring a drink and a snack if you like. This is a lovely, easygoing ride with pretty woodland scenery and no hills. Children (male or female, age 15 years or younger) are welcome on this ride but must be accompanied by an adult woman (see terms and conditions).
