Meet us in the car park at Fairholmes Visitor Centre Bamford for a beautiful 16 mile ride along pine tree lined tarmac roads following the contour of Derwent Dam to the Kings Tree, and then onto good tracks and paths to the area known as a slippery stones, over the old bridge, and around the far side of the dams and through the woodland where we can hopefully get some beautiful photographs of the bluebells. This route is ideal for riders who are happy on all types of terrain and would like to ride in peaceful surroundings with like minded ladies. We will take it steady, enjoying the scenery and wildlife along the way, and as with all Breeze rides, we ride to the pace of the slowest rider in a sociable group so nobody will be left behind.
Very quiet tarmac roads and off road trails
We will stop from time to time to admire the views, and will have the option to cycle into Bamford for lunch mid ride
Helmets and gloves are advisable, and please bring along the means to repair a puncture, together with drinks and snacks
First-timers welcome!
