About the route
Starting point
Bristol Parkway Station, Stoke Gifford, BS34 8PU. There is a pay and display carpark at the station.
Leaving Parkway we make our way to the A38 via quiet country lanes before heading down through Tockington to the Severn Valley. We then meander northwards through undulating lanes to the pretty village of Oldbury on Severn. After stopping for cake at the Community Shop we retrace our way back to Parkway. We will see hardly any traffic other than other cyclists and horses! Lovely views of the Severn and a nice mixture of climbs and descents to work the cake off! 30 miles in total!
