Breeze to Barry - 50 mile - fast training ride - one way only, transport needed at finish!

This is a challenging ride starting from 14 Locks canal centre and ending at Barry Island. The route is via the canal path then cycle tracks to Taff Bargoed where we will pick up the Taff trail into Cardiff Bay. From there we will cycle into Barry which will include some roads. It is not suitable for new or inexperienced riders and those that do not expect to cycle at consistent speed of 15 mph. The rider will need to arrange their own pickup and collection for the return journey home. This is only planned as a one-way route! Riders will mostly be on road bikes or light hybrids. Bring your helmet, don't forget to check your bike over before you start and pump your tyres up. Don't forget some money for lunch and icecream!
