Breeze To Bovingdon Green with Holly Hedges Cut Thru with Watford Cycle Hub: Pace Av. 10-11 mph (Blazing Blue)

Hi all, On this ride I will lead you along some of my favourite local country lanes: through Loudwater and Sarratt, across to Flaunden, looping back to Bovingdon Green and getting to share with you the 'Holly Hedges Cut Thru' which is a country lane less traveled, often missed and not known about, but well worth discovering! : ) On the day we can discuss where you might like to stop for drinks and treats, whether a cafe, deli or pub - there are a few options and it will be a group decision as to what you would enjoy the most! : ) This ride is for ladies who want to ride a bit faster and I'll pace the ride to average 10-11 mph over this route with moderate hills. I expect to cycle the route with you over two hours but have allowed for stoppage time, and a leisurely, unhurried cafe / deli / pub break. I expect us to be back at the Hub by 2:30pm at the latest, even if a puncture happens en route. Please carefully consider the forecast temperature for Saturday and wear layers accordingly and possibly bring a rucksack / rackpack / panniers to stow them in. Gloves, hat &/or a buff also are recommended; I want you to happy and warm enough and don't want anyone to suffer with the cold, as we will be cycling faster than the pace of some Breeze Rides, but not breaking the sound barrier!
