About the route
Starting point
Outside Carshalton Beeches Station, SM5 3RF, for prompt 10.00 am start. Parking available in nearby roads. Anyone needing further information or to contact me on the day - Angela 07824 644855
We will follow the North Downs Way (a bit gravelly) for a mile or so east to the Junction 8 cafe (another fantastic view). There is a steepish hill each way in and out of the Chipstead Valley, otherwise just a few short sharp inclines around the 'Chipstead Hilly' which are not too bad and the route is easier on the way back :) Riding time should be no more than 3 hours, return journey can be done quickly for anyone needing to get back as mostly downhill.
This may be the last time I do this ride before winter, as the North Downs Way can get muddy after lots of rain.
