Breeze to Reigate Hill

This is a lovely but hilly ride out through Surrey villages, over the M25 unexpectedly arriving at the top of the North Downs with a spectacular view.

A good opportunity for those confident in riding in traffic to practice hills, everyone can do them at their own pace and we'll regroup at the top.

We'll have an outdoor stop half way through the ride at the Junction 8 cafe.

This ride is along country lanes apart from a couple of miles of gravelly path along the North Downs Way and one small section where we may all have to get off and walk for 50m or so, but it is worth persevering as this is a really lovely ride.

Please ensure that your bike is in good working order and remember to bring your helmet and a spare inner tube (tyre levers and pump too if you have them). You may also wish to bring a drink, snack, money/card, lock and hand sanitizer too.

Covid-19: You should not attend this ride if you, or anyone in your household, has Covid-19 symptoms; if you are in the extremely clinically vulnerable category, or if you have been asked to stay home by the UK Government Test and Trace system. If you become unwell between booking the ride and the ride date, please remember to cancel your place so that it becomes available for another rider, as numbers are restricted. If you become unwell with Covid-19 in the days following the ride, or test positive, please contact the ride leader. There is no requirement to wear a face covering while riding, but you may do so if you wish.
