Breeze to the Alpacas

We start from the rear of Giant Sheffield in the car park on Harrington Road next to the Umix Centre. Cars can be left here at owners risk. Store will be open for any general enquiries and pre ride brew ☺

Our ride will take us out on a gentle climb up through Nether Edge, over Ecclesall /Whirlow before we climb up to our cafe stop at Mayfield Alpacas. We then stay up to enjoy spectacular views of Sheffield, before descending down Roper Hill and returning to store via Lodge Moor, Redmires, Crosspool and Broomhill.

This route is suitable for ladies wanting to start going further on road bikes or hybrids. All the hills on this ride are do-able, we always wait/regroup at junctions and don't mind should you need to walk in places. All our rides are paced to suit everyone in the group and no one is ever left behind.

Please dress suitably for the weather conditions and also in clothing that you are comfortable wearing on the bike.

Helmets are recommended, but not compulsory. Please carry drinks and snacks. Bring money should you wish to visit the cafe with us. Please also carry a puncture repair kit/spare inner tubes, and a multi tool.
