Starting and finishing outside the cafe in Daisy Nook Country Park, this is a great little 8 mile ride that showcases Daisy Nook, and the remains of the 200yr old Park Bridge iron works which has been landscaped into a lovely place to cycle, walk and picnic, with a cafe stop at the lovely Boathouse cafe in Alexandra Park in Oldham.

Featuring pathways of compacted dirt, sand, tarmac and with a short sharp climb thrown in for good measure, this is a route that really does bring everything to those who ride it. But don't let the climb put you off, walking up it gives you more opportunity to survey the beautiful surroundings!

The route is suitable for all bikes (road, hybrid and MTB), but be mindful that in inclement weather, the paths will likely be muddy.

Requirements: a working bike, helmet, weather appropriate clothing and your own puncture repair kit, spare inner tube and pump. Also bring a lock and cash for the cafe stop.
