The circuit is located to the rear of the school along with ample free parking.
Please arrive 15 Minutes prior to session start at 6pm to enable a register and bike check to be take.

FREE LADIES ONLY CYCLE SESSIONS New to cycling, need a confidence boost, testing out a new bike, trying out cleats or want to get some extra circuit training in? Then come and join us in this mixed ability ladies only FREE cycle session at Wakefield’s new traffic free purpose built cycling circuit. Come with friends and family or come on your own, you will soon get to know and chat with other likeminded ladies and enjoy not only cycling together but sharing tips and hints to make our cycling life fun. Located at St Thomas a Becket School in Wakefield (Sandal), the FREE women only rides are ideal if you have not ridden for a while, need to build confidence or simply want to meet like minded ladies and get out riding your bike. You can do 1 lap or you can do 20+, it is up to you. The friendly female Breeze Champions will be there to give you useful tips and advice, teach basic cycling skills and cycle the circuit with you if you need us to. If anyone wants to go a little faster you are welcome to ride around at your own pace, it is your hour, feel free to use it to suit your needs (please note racing will not be permitted). All participants MUST wear a cycling helmet. No helmet No ride. Please ensure: You wear foot ware appropriate for cycling such as trainers or cycling shoes. No flapping trouser legs that may get caught in your bike chain. Bike lights, the circuit is flood light but it never hurts to be seen better. Please also bring puncture kit and bike pump Spare layers of clothing … winter time! ...and don't forget your water! Please ensure your bike is in roadworthy condition BEFORE you arrive. We will bike check all bikes before allowing them on the circuit. If you are unsure about any of this information or have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
