Breeze Watford Cycle Hub: The Hidden Vineyard Adventure! :) Pace Average: 8-10 mph

Hi ladies!

We are re-running our Challenging Ride to Frithsden Vineyard for their June Fete!

This route is definitely ‘undulating’ with a total of 336 metres of climbing and one proper hill just before the vineyard – but you would have earnt your burger, cake & wine and / or pot of tea and time to sit in the sunshine and enjoy some quality social time at the vineyard.

We will then pootle back to Hemel Train Station to get the train back to Watford Junction, from where you can depart home, or we can lead you back to Watford Cycle Hub…

We are pacing this ride to average about 8-10 mph to allow as many ladies as possible the chance to join the ride at a do-able pace. This is very much a ride about journeying through lovely countryside to a little eden of a retreat and enjoying each others' company, so provided you’ve done a Challenging Ride before and have some experience doing a hilly route, you are most welcome to come and join us. All ladies who have done the Christmas Jingle Ride to St. Albans or to the Dacorum Cycle Hub will be fine on this ride.

Please bring:

- Two Spare Inner Tubes – Watford Cycle Hub sell them from £4 new, or 50p/£1 for recycled ones
- A Drink
- Snacks
- Clothing appropriate for the conditions on the day & possibly a rucksack or panniers to stow away a jacket etc
- Debit card / money for indulging at Frithsden Vineyard & for getting the train home afterwards…
