Meeting at the Flask End Cafe on Woodfall Lane, Low Bradfield, we will taylor-make your ride to your preference and ability.
The quiet roads around the Dam Flask offer some flat riding, just to spin your legs and have a bit of fun, and also a short hill to start your hill climbing practice. If you've enjoyed just one loop of the Dam then we can break for coffee and cake in the lovely Flask End Cafe, if you've enjoyed one loop and fancy another loop, or even a third, then we can do that :-).
This is a ride that will suit beginners as well as people who want to practice hills with a view to building up towards hilly miles, and anyone who just wants to keep riding during the winter months in a safe setting and with a supportive group. This series of similar rides on the first and third Sunday of the month is planned to compliment current Sunday rides to help women gain confidence on the flat and in the hills. We be riding for around an hour around the Dam, allow extra for a cuppa in the cafe
As we are on. the road, and weather conditions may be mixed, please wear a cycle helmet and suitable weather-proof clothing, bring a drink, a pump, and an inner tube.
