Starting point

WN1 2UW

Bridge 63 Red Rock Lane Haigh ( Opposite Wigan Gold Club Entrance )

Come and join Breeze Wigan on a delightful ride almost traffic free 8 miles to the Fredricks Ice Cream Parlour. Taking in the towpath of the Canal, this route is mainly flat throughout and is suitable for hybrids and mountain bikes and electric bikes.

At the mid point we will be stopping for an evening Ice Cream and a drink so please bring money with you. As always we recommend a helmet and if you have an inner tube and a bike lock please bring them along (don't let this put you off if you don't).

We ride to a social pace with having breath to chat and have a giggle along the way - no one is ever left behind we ALWAYS ride to the slowest pace making the experience pleasurable.

Due to the distance children can attend if they are able to ride for 6 miles (if you are unsure why not try one of the shorter rides first), however, all children MUST wear a helmet or will not be allowed to take part.

Make sure you book a place as ride leaders can only take 8 participants each on a ride.
