Breezy Ladies Almost Totally Traffic Free Coastal Beginners Ride For Coffee :)

Riding at a gentle, leisurely pace with like-minded ladies stopping at a local cycle friendly café along the way.

This is an easy-going ride suitable for beginner ladies wishing to ride among a friendly small group of women.
All beginner & new lady E-Bike riders are especially welcomed.
We will be travelling along the almost traffic free coastal cycle way to Allonby beach taking in those beautiful Solway coastal views. There will be public toilets open here in Allonby village if needed but not at the start/finish point.

We will then retrace our route back towards Maryport stopping off along the way at The Moody Cow café for refreshments then carry on to our finish point at the cemetery gates.

Please bring with you a road worthy bike, your helmet, clothes you are comfortable cycling in, easy to add or remove layers work the best, a waterproof jacket, a cold drink for along the way (if needed), a mask & some money or contactless payment card for our café stop.

Please do not attend the ride if you have Covid symptoms, have someone in your household who does or if you have tested positive on a recent Covid test. Cancelling your place won't be a problem just let us know before the ride so we are not waiting unnecessarily for you, especially if its raining.
All riders on a British cycling ride are now required to provide & carry all their own cycle repair equipment to comply with the government's self-sufficiency rules.
So, a must is your own hand pump with the correct connection for your inner tube valve, a set of tyre levers & this seasons must have cycle accessory a spare inner tube that fits your bike. These are the minimum needed to avoid sharing any tools if repairs are required to your bike along the way.
