Join us for a mid summer mid week Breezy Ladies B2B (Back to Basics) Café Afternoon Tea Ride to celebrate Breezes 11th Birthday year.

This ride is led by an experienced British Cycling trained coach, so if you need any advice or help starting or getting back into that saddle for this ride just message the ride leader on the riders tab below.

We will start our ride from Mawbray Bank's Nature Reserve car park which is free but is a first come first park affair. Please be aware of the extremely uneven road surface leading to the car park itself, whether arriving by Car or by Bike.

We will be using mainly quiet county back roads with some parts of the Hadrian's traffic free cycle way, with a very short 400 yards of B road to connect with the 2 points of cycle path.
This section will be managed for you with your safety in mind.

For our café afternoon tea stop this year we will be calling in to Bank Mill's newly renovated Hike and Bike Café opposite the nature reserve at the end of the ride.
As usual we will be taking a short drink and snack break along the route with a great view & as always as Breezy B2B ladies we ride at the slowest rider's speed so we never leave anyone behind.

Unfortunately there are no toilet facilities along this route. Only at the café at the end of the ride.

Please bring with you a road worthy bike, your helmet, clothes you are comfortable cycling in, (easy to remove layers work the best), a waterproof jacket, as the weather can change quite quickly, a drink for along the way & a snack if needed.
You will need to bring along with you this seasons must have cycling accessories a spare inner tube that fits your bike, a set of tyre levers and a hand pump with the correct fitting for your inner tube valve, just in case any on the move repairs are needed to your bike.
You will also need to bring with you a lock for your bike & the £8 fee (cash only excepted at the café) for our private afternoon tea if you wish to purchase refreshments at the end of the ride. Andrea is opening the café exclusively for us on the day, so there is now only 1 place available for this years ride.

As always this ride will follow the current Government and British Cycling Corona virus guidelines. Therefore if you are showing any symptoms of Corona virus or if you have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms, please stay at home.
