Join us for a mid summer Breezy Ladies B2B (Back to Basics) Parton Picnic Packed Lunch Ride to celebrate Breezes 10th Birthday year.

This ride is led by an experienced British Cycling trained coach, so if you need any advice or help starting or getting back into that saddle for this ride just message me on the riders tab below.

We will start our ride from CA14 3SE Moorclose Campus car park which is free but is a first come first park affair.
After a very short left turn on the road way & a couple of minutes through the estate we will join the NCN route 72 towards Workington fire station.
So most of this ride will be totally traffic free travelling along the cycle way past High Harrigton & Distington, from here we will carry on along the cycle way until we reach Lowca, then follow the NCN 72 route by road to Parton beach.
This is where we will have our alfresco "bring your own" packed lunch.

After our snack stop we will retrace our route from Parton to Lowca with only two hill climbs on our way back, (which can be easily walked if you felt daunted), & as Breezy B2B ladies we are always "willing to wait" and never leave anyone behind.

Unfortunately there are no toilet facilities along this route.

Please bring with you a road worthy bike, your helmet, clothes you are comfortable cycling in, (easy to remove layers work best), a waterproof jacket, as the weather can change quite quickly, a drink for along the way & a snack if you'd like one for our alfresco lunch stop.
A spare inner tube that fits your bike is required as is a hand pump with the correct fitting for your inner tube valve, (just in case).
A working Bike Bell is now a priority for the ride due to increased Dog walking activity along this route.

As always this ride will follow the current Government and British Cycling Corona virus guidelines. Therefore if you are showing any symptoms of Corona virus or if you have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms, please stay at home.
