A Breezy Ladies B2B (Back to Basics) " Ride for Coffee"

This is a gentle beginner's "café" ride for Ladies only to also including E-bike lady riders with a fully charged battery.
We will start from Moorclose Campus car park where we will join the NCN route 72 towards Workington fire station.

All but a couple of minutes of this ride will be totally traffic free travelling along the cycle way past High Harrigton & Distington, from here we will carry on along the cycle way towards Lowca where we will take in the views of Whitehaven before turning back the way we came with only one hill climb on our way back. (This can be easily walked if you felt daunted). And as Breezy B2B ladies we are always "willing to wait" and never leave anyone behind.
Retracing our route towards Starbucks at Distington where we will stop for an outdoor socially distanced "take away" café stop for coffee, tea or perhaps some cake:) and to use the toilet facilities if needed.
After our refuelling stop we will retrace our route back to Workington.
Just to let you know there are only toilet facilities at Starbucks on this route not at the start and finish point.

You will need to bring with you a road worthy bike, your helmet, clothes you are comfortable cycling in, (easy to add & remove layers work best), a waterproof jacket, as the weather can change quite quickly, a drink for along the way if needed, also a mask, some money or contactless card for our café stop.
A spare inner tube that fits your bike is a good idea as is a hand pump with the correct fitting for your inner tube valve, (just in case).

A working Bike Bell is now a priority for this ride due to increased Dog walking activity along this route.

This ride is led by an experienced British Cycling Breeze trained coach, so if you need any advice or help starting or getting back into that saddle for this ride just message me on the riders tab below.
