Starting point

Glamorgan
CF10 4PA

This leisurely ride takes in Cardiff Bay Barrage, the wiggly path up over Penarth, Penarth Pier and the railway path down to Cosmeston Lakes, where after a loop of the lake we'll stop for coffee and cake. We'll then follow the path between the lakes and weave back through some of the beautiful streets in Penarth, picking up the railway path again before wiggling back down the hill to Penarth Marina and back across the barrage.

This ride is suitable for all bike types.

We'll start from Coffi Co (the shipping container one nearest the Norwegian Church). The nearest parking places are behind Coffi Co and outside the Norwegian Church, but there's plenty of other places to park nearby.

The serious bits ... Please note that helmets are advised, compulsory for under 18's. Please bring some bike repair tools if possible, and food and drink in case you need a little boost before we reach the coffee stop! Riders participate at their own risk.
