Canal Wander to Sunny side

This is a very easy going ride for those who are new or returning to cycling, or who wish to ride with their children. We will ride at the pace that is best suited to everyone in the group, usually between 5-7 mph. As leaders we will ensure that no one is left behind, so that everyone in the group has an enjoyable ride. We will be riding approximately 6 miles in a traffic free environment, through the Boxmoor park, along the peaceful canal and cycle pathways. The canal is unspoilt with tarmac, so can be a little bumpy/muddy in places. However, it is a lovely peaceful area to gain confidence in riding with a small group of riders. As with all Breeze rides we have a delightful place to stop on our ride, for a drink and cake at the Sunny Side cafe.

Please remember to bring:
Two spare innertubes for your bike, even if you do not know how to change them, someone in the group will, as well as the appropriate tools (tyre leavers)
A water bottle with a drink in, riding can be very thirst work.
A cycle helmet, for your own safety.
Appropriate clothing for the weather.
Money for our drink/cake stop.
