Cannock Chase Off Road Back to Cycling

The ride starts at Hednesford Park and we follow the Heritage Trail onto the Chase. From here we explore the Chase on variety of routes on blue routes, fire roads or easy single tracks. We usually ride between 8-12 miles however we adjust the distance of the ride to suit those riders who attend.

This is ideal for those returning to cyclnig or wanting to try off road cycling. We explore the blue routes and fire roads across Cannock Chase. This ride is suitable for children from the age of 10 years old. They must be supervised at all time by an adult. Children must be able to ride a bike on off road track

All of the ride is on traffic free paths. Once we leave Hednesford Park with follow the beginning of the Heritage Trail and join Cannock Chase

We stop half way through our ride for refreshments at one of the visitor centres on the Chass

Helmets are strongly advised. If you are bringing your own bike please bring a spare inner tube and ensure your bike is in good working order. You can hire a bike free of charge.
