(1) ReviewsKendal to Carnforth, and back via the usual mix of South Lakeland roads. Nearly all of the climbing is done on 3 ascents on the outward route to Carnforth, which is at the halfway point of the route. Overall a moderate ride. There is lovely scenery along the way.
We will be riding mainly on quieter roads.
There will be opportunities along the way to stop to enjoy the views and have a rest. We will stop in Carnforth for refreshments.
Helmets, a bike lock and a spare inner tube are advisable. Please bring a drinks bottle, snacks and money if you wish to buy refreshments.
