Leaving from Castlefield Banyan Tree pub/cafe at 18.30, along Manchester Ship Canal, past Co-op store opposite Salford Cathedral (18.40) then along route 6, all off-road from Drinkwater park entrance, then Waterdale, Philip's Park, crossing the motorway to reach the fantastic Outwood trail disused railway to reach Radcliffe McDonald's. After a short pit-stop, back the same way.....all pretty much downhill :-)
