Leaving the Banyan Tree at 10.30 on Tuesday 10th September, arriving at Watch house around 10.50. Cycling through Hullard park, Seymour park and Longford park to reach the Bridgewater canal at Stretford.
Pick-up point at Watch House Cruising club along the canal (M32 8WE), then turning right onto the TPT route 62. Following this through Broadheath, Lymm and Heatley.
Coming off at Mill Lane turn-off. Going over Warburton toll bridge to reach the A57. Cycle along the shared pavement to reach the amazing Barton Aerodrome where it's possible to see small aircraft taking off and landing whilst eating lunch at runway 26 - a decent cafe.
After approximately 30 minutes, cycling to Eccles, over Barton Bridge to reach the Bridgewater canal at Eccles, then back to either Castlefield (turn left at branch in canal), or WCC (go straight on).

Starting from the Banyan tree at 10am, through parks to reach Bridgewater canal to WCC pick up point M32 8WE (10.20, parking available). Turning right onto TPT route 62...

Canal, TPT, shared footpath alongside busy A57, max. 10% road riding through Eccles and to reach Stretford

City airport lunch stop - around 30 minutes
