Cheslyn Gardens - Watford and Aquadrome - Rickmansworth circular

This is not a beginners ride as there are some hills on our way out from Pinner, through to Oxhey and Carpenders Park. Its a steady ride and we will wait at the top of the hill as you can walk your bike on the hill if you cannot attempt. We will wait at the top. There is an option for you to join this ride for a shorter distance and avoiding the hill. There is a train from Hatch End to Carpenders Park (we can pick you from there at 8.30 a.m.), no stairs and also there is an option for you to return from Watford underground station to Pinner on our way back from Cheslyn Gardens to Cassiobury Park. For the longer route, we will make our way to Ebury Way going towards Aquadrome to stop for toilets and coffee. Return via Moor Park. We need to leave on time to avoid the busy Saturday shoppers as we will be going through High street. Please ensure that you cancel your place well in advance if you cannot attend.
If the ride is full, please message me and/or put your name on waiting list.

Do not come if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or are in a home with anyone who has. We will observe social distancing on the ride. Please ensure your bike is in tip-top working order as I cannot touch it. Pump up the tyres, check the brakes and ensure the wheels turn freely.

No special gear needed: just water, credit/debit card for the cafe and a bike lock. No road bikes.

Some sections on main road but mostly quiet roads and off road Ebury Way.

No road bikes as Ebury Way can be muddy.
