Now the weather is starting to cool down a little bit we will take advantage by introducing a slighty longer and slightly bumpier ride (rolling countryside) taking in the local iconic climb of Crimp Hill and the lovely descent of Prune hill round through Stroude crossing the M3 to go alongside the M25 to reach St Peter's past Homewood park and onto Stonehill with a refreshment stop just before BurrowHill then climbing back up towards the M3 to go around the top of the common with fantastic views across the valley. Next we pass Longcross before heading north to Virginnia Water then a nice long descent at Trump's Grn before stretching our legs up Gallow Hill to reach Royal Holloway and Englefield Grn. Then a dash through WGP to Windsor over the Thames passing Eton Wick and Cippenham then home.

Most of the route is using quiet lanes and/or restricted access roads

We have a planned stop at the halfway point (ish) but if we need to stop and regroup at the top of any climbs we will do also may stop to take in the views (get our breaths back)

Please bring puncture repair kit/spare inner tube (we will help) drinks and snacks for on the bike as well as money to buy me beer

First-timers welcome!
