Circular cycle ride round the Kent lanes

The Central London Outdoor Group (CLOG) (founded 1937) https://www.clog.org.uk has an easy cycle rides in the countryside nearly every week between March and October ranging from 20 to 35 miles. These are easily accessible by public transport from London and are on quiet roads or cycle paths.

By bike we explore rivers, canals, forts, castles, coast, marshes, gardens, woods, ruins, churches, mansions, cycle-ferries, churchyards, villages, lost railways....

Saturday 1st Dec - Enjoy the last of the autumn colours (weather permitting) with a cycle ride round the Kent lanes and villages (about 20 miles). Meet at Meopham station at 11 am (10.10 train from Victoria gets to Meopham at 10.57). We cycle via lanes and villages to Trowsley country park for lunch, then crisscross the North Downs back to Meopham for train back to Victoria at 4pm. Please bring drink and snack, bicycle lights and repair kit including spare inner tube. Hazel and Kevin.

• Letsride followers (and other prospective CLOG members) can come on up to 3 events to try us out but after that you need to join CLOG (https://membermojo.co.uk/clog) to continue with us.

• Most attendees are members of CLOG and not on Letsride, so RSVPs do not indicate the total numbers expected.

NB Central London Outdoor Group is non-commercial and events are organised by other members of the club on a voluntary basis. All participants should make themselves aware of the risks inherent in walking, cycling and other outdoor activities and take responsibility for their own actions and choices of activity.
