Clapham Common & Battersea Park

We ride towards central London using quiet back roads and parks, including a brief pause in Holland Park, before enjoying the ride through the Royal Parks and into the centre of Westminster. We cross the river on Cycleway 5 over Vauxhall Bridge, then ride on past the Oval and through quiet south London roads to Clapham Common. Crossing the Common, we reach Battersea Park for our lunchtime stop. The homeward route takes us along the river to Putney Bridge, then back to Ealing via Fulham, Hammersmith and Acton.
The Pear Tree Cafe in Battersea Park is open but service is likely to be slow due to social distancing requirements. Please bring your own food for a picnic lunch if possible.

Leisurely ride into Central London, then over the river to explore the green spaces of Clapham Common and Battersea Park, returning along the river to Putney Bridge and then back to Ealing via Fulham, Hammersmith and Acton.

We will make a brief stop in Holland Park on our outward route and have a lunchtime stop in Battersea Park.

Bring lights for the return journey, locks for the refreshment stops. Hand sanitiser, wipes, face coverings. Refreshment stops will be outdoors.
