Starting from - Parking is at a layby a little before Tal Y Bont on the left just down from the cemetery. There should be plenty of parking, if not there is some more a little further on actually in Tal Y Bont itself on the right hand side if coming from Conwy.

PLEASE NOTE - the quoted postcode which I can't change is not the actual parking spot. These are the coordinates (paste into Googlemaps) 53°12'48.1"N 3°50'34.0"W for the layby. LL32 8UZ

This is an exciting chance to ride with Rhos on Sea cycling club to give you a feel for club riding.
We will be joined by some of the men from Rhos who will safely guide us to Betws y Coed.
It is a very friendly group ride that Louise and i ride with regularly, so again no one is left behind.
Route is detailed below, approx 20miles to Betws y Coed and back. All on quiet roads with little, but some traffic, giving us good practice on roads and group riding/etiquette. Route is undulating, but with only two biggish 'climbs' as such that we will take at a steady pace and walk if we need to.

This ride is ideal for ladies who feel they can ride a little faster than on a beginners ride and would like to try a longer distance 'on road' and the challenge of a few hills, whilst in the safety of a group

Please be aware the pace will be a steady pace, not fast, aiming to keep to a steady 12 -15 mph except on the hills!

I plan to stop for a cup of tea or coffee etc (30mins ish, so we don't get too cold) in Betws before returning along same route so bring some cash if you'd like to buy something and a bike lock.

Road bikes or hybrid best for this route :)
