Coast and Country

We leave Gosforth & ride off towards the rising sun park and then head for Seaton Sluice where we pick up the coastal path, we will be stopping for some refreshments at the coast before making our return to the rising sun park and back to Gosforth. The route is mainly off road on reasonable tracks although there are sections of the route where the track surface is rough and bumpy.
Our coffee stop will be at Seaton Sluice, pleased be advised that they take card only.

Please make sure your bike is in working condition. before the start of the ride and bring a spare inner tube to fit your tyres and/or a puncture repair kit. The leaders can assist with a puncture. but only if you have the correct size inner tube with you.

Helmets are advisable.

Expect to be out for 3-3.5hrs

COVID-19
Please note the following:
• We will not share any equipment so please be organised and bring your own items eg drink, bike pump and hand sanitiser.
• You should pay particular attention to your bike being in good working order before attending a ride so as to minimise risks and disruption to rides.
• We will ride taking social distancing into account. At the time of writing British Cycling recommend riding 2m apart.
• Participants must not attend a ride if they have COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with symptoms
• Anyone who develops COVID-19 symptoms during a ride must inform a leader.
• Anyone who develops COVID symptoms after a ride must contact the leader. British Cycling HQ will then contact everyone who attended the ride.
